Colon Rollin’® came about because I was at

a crossroads regarding my health. I was overweight, out of shape, unhealthy, and facing monumental health challenges. I had to decide whether I was going to be a victim or take charge of my most important asset: myself. Now, I am my own poster child for health, vigor and strength.

    In August of 2008, my Mother told me she thought she ought to be in a nursing home. A year to the month later, I was back home in Los Angeles.

    My intention, when I moved home, was to open a theatre or a night club; some kind of performance arts venue where food & booze were served.

    While still in New York, I began looking online at various properties. Once I got home, I actively looked at those places. In between, I was taking care of my Mother every day.

     What I quickly realized was that I couldn’t effectively take care of my Mother until I started taking care of myself. How could I take care of her if I was a mess?

     I started working out, eating right, drinking that water, and taking care of business. Being from a family of emotional eaters, I know the importance of taking off weight in a slow and steady way. I’m down 40 pounds in two years, and still going.

     It took me a good four to six weeks to realize what my Mother’s true daily needs were. As the time I spent with her increased, so did my knowledge of nursing, whether I wanted to learn or not. When caring for someone you love, you just do whatever needs to be done.

    The dread I initially felt acquiring nursing knowledge changed to interest. The dreams of my venue took a back seat (for now). I decided to become a nurse.

    As months passed, I realized that I wasn’t as interested in nursing as I was teaching individuals how to maintain, improve and surpass their current state of health. For years I’ve read about preventative measures to enhance and elongate life. I’m interested in holding onto and improving my health for the rest of my life!

    Taking care of my Mother has taught me first hand that yes, we are living longer lives, but what good are those golden years if the quality of those years is limited by poor health, inactivity, and lack of mobility. Taking care of her taught me that there is truth to the saying, “Move it or lose it!”

    We must take control of our lives by taking control of our health. By taking control of your health, you will have the power to control your destiny.

    That’s why I started Colon Rollin’®.

    Established in May 2011, Colon Rollin’® is dedicated to bringing internal cleansing to the people, literally and figuratively! Your colon will be rolled and my equipment is portable.

    I had my first internal cleansing session in my mid-20s with Mary Meadows, who has a business called Midway Holistic, which was once located in the same block where my business is. Immediately, I understood the benefits of this procedure and decided to incorporate it, whenever possible, into my regimen.
    While living in New York City, I became interested in becoming a colon hydrotherapist. Last year, I had the pleasure of meeting a family of three generations of colon hydrotherapists. I first met the Matriarch, Millan Chessman, as a client at her fasting retreat in the San Diego area. My goals at her retreat were to detox and lose weight. I had all my mercury fillings removed the year before and knew my body was swimming in heavy metals.

    While at her retreat, I expressed to Millan, my interest in studying internal cleansing. She told me her daughter, Roxanne Watson, was an instructor. I began studying with her and taking the classes needed to become a Foundation Level I-ACT member.
    In the state of California, you do not need to have a license to perform internal cleansing. It was my choice to study and become a member of I-ACT.
    At Colon Rollin’®,  all my equipment is manufactured in the U.S.A. My colon hydrotherapy equipment is FDA registered and superior to any device I have ever had a treatment on, and I have had treatments all across our country.
